Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Dividend just announced

$.87/share again. I think this means even more layoffs than maybe what we hoped. Insane

@khg+17FEYLmu nobody cares what you choose, so why are you wasting your time here on a layoff board? Is it because you have those xom shares that have cut your fortune virtually in half and are still declining? Are you venting on here and blaming "low performers"? Most of the people who run the sites are low performers by xom standards that's why they don't leave the sites, many choose to stay at the manufacturing facilities. Go ahead and lay off all the nsi, ni and half the good employees. You will be left with either really. Young individual contributors with no experience or a c-ap ton of managers, executives, supervisors, and dept heads who do not know how to run the day to day operations. Maybe you can just plug and play them. Into doing the individual contributor role but then those folks would be considered low performer and then you. Need to. Lay them off and the cycle continues.

You see you really don't know how things work big shot? So despite your worthless shares you haven't a clue to fix the company and your vote won't change squat.

I would support a 20% dividend cut (my income), if so long as there is a 20% cut in pay and a 20% layoff. Luckily I have a voice. I vote my shares. Many of you STUPID employees do not own significant shares. You deserve having no voice in what happens to you. I am an OWNER of the company and I CHOOSE to not employ many of you. Especially low performers with nothing to do.

They could literally fire everyone in the company and still not cover the dividend on an annual basis at $0.87/share. Un-f***ing-believable. This company is utterly insane on so many levels.

Why would they cut the dividend? That would negatively impact executive compensation. COI Anyone?
