Suprised they did not consider FLS’s that are retirement eligible. Especially since they want to reduce headcount.

I am an FLS retirement eligible and gladly would have takn a package to leave as many other probably would have too.
Now that FLS were not in this pool, how many FLS will go ahead and retire thus reducing more headcount.
Gotta sting that all you MFers with titles and fancy degrees are the first SOBs to go when stuff gets real and a bunch of trade school grads keep the machine rolling without a stutter. May be the right time to go learn a trade.

They want to keep people who know how to run the business and don't get paid what the white collar / functional jobs get paid!
They would never remove layer between the top and the knuckle draggers.
Contract coming up in February probably more layoffs after that!
They probably wanted to keep people that actually know how to run the things that make the company money
