Took recent VSSP. On Cobra. I haven't gotten anything about open enrollment. Has that already started? I don't trust the company to inform me that it is enrollment time and I don't see anything on the health and benefits site. Any help is appreciated.

Why would you ever want to get a job before they start paying you the unemployment that you deserve? There are many of us in the same boat as you and not one that I have talked to you has any intentions of going back to work before they draw every last dime of unemployment from those dirty SOB's. Look at one of your pay stubs. You paid in every week. They owe you. It is one of the last things you can do to get one over on them. No way I am going back to work until I have drawn every dime. You don't realize it but there are plenty of jobs out there. I get propositioned once a week and I am not even trying. Draw the unemployment then go to work.
i didn't trust them either tbh . you will get through it but it's a slow process and they don't care how lousy it is. make sure to check if your pension eligible as I was and got an extra 40k cashing that out into a existing ira. however had to notarize it and generally was a pain . also had to notice the 401k rollover also but wells fargo will do it for free and make an appt at a local bank and they do it for you free. i applied for unemployment but won't qualify to get any for 6 months. hopefully i have a job before then. hang in there. life will improve at a better place.
it's a s—y system ... your covered through the end of your last month your an employee ... then you have quite a few days to enroll. call them and that's the easiest way to navigate it all. there is a website to do the enrollment and they send you a paper offer later but the enrollment is all done in the website and if you keep things the same and autopay your first bill doesn't hit for a couple months or more and your covered the whole time
