I said it and I stick by it. If you weren’t cut you know you would have stayed until the bitter end. You’re just salty because you aren’t riding the clock, getting a paycheck like those of us who are still here. It s—s for you that you can’t let go after you’ve been let go! So do yourself and the company a favor, move on. Ya’ll who hate on the company are doing it because it’s easier than picking up the pieces and going forward. As I said, move on.

It's really sad and even disgusting when B&N employees' lives are so depressing that they have to come to this site to shlt even more on laid off victims.
Are you proud of this?
I’m sure they are. Used to be a “we’re a family” atmosphere. Now it’s a bunch of uninvested part timers, around until another job opens up.
Now it’s the laid off vs the employed?
This is layoff.com. If you’re employed and on here , you must know where you’re headed.
Riding the clock? Where I work we are working our asses off everyday. You must be in management. Only a manager could say something so stupid and out of touch. All the booksellers regret coming back and wished we were still furloughed or laid off and claiming those insane unemployment checks. More over the minimal wage we make can be replaced at any job and our hours are not stable and will go down once the holiday season is over. Barnes and Noble ain’t all that and it’s not some privilege to be a bookseller it’s just another c-appy minimal wage job.
And I don't even work for them. Never have. Down with Daunt, BN, Reggio.
Thank you for the compliment.
The down with daunt/Barnes Noble,
Character, is hilarious.
Move on in life, dude.
They come here because they know we’ll all be laid off soon.
Why are employees and managers on a layoff page? They should stay on that laughable BN Facebook page being fake and saying how everything is like being in a Disney movie!
I'm so bitter that I have a full time job with beReggio. Sarcasm. What do you have BN? A lousy $12/hour and a pathetic discount. The real losers are the people still working at BN. But not for long. I can't wait to see the look on their face when the company folds. Down with BN, Daunt, Riggio.
You were laid off three years ago?
It’s time to move on in life.
I do not get the obsession with a company you are no longer tied to.
It’s sad.
Feel better now?

Agree with the poster.
It’s a lot of sour grapes and stewing.
I think the majority have most likely moved on two years ago, but there’s a handful that maybe sit around and have not much else to do but stalk the company and hope for their demise.
Don’t be so c—y. As B&N’s business deteriorates you may find yourself amongst us as a new ex-employee. What will you do in early 2021 when B&N goes out of business? Good luck to you.
