Like most of my former colleagues, I am unsuccessfully looking for a job that fits me.
Did you have any offers for new jobs and what were they like?
I would love to hear that someone has had success in finding another job. For now, I didn’t want to accept offers worse than the one I had, but in the future, who knows.

Agree on LinkedIn being valuable. People cut loose from GAC are highly marketable. Others value what GAC does not. My new job is not in Savannah, but worth it for higher salary, much better health insurance, more stable company and terrific opportunities for growth I never had at GAC. Keep looking. You’ll do well.
linkedin is an invaluable tool. I was laid off in May but received an offer that included promotion, better benefits, and more vacation. I did have to relocate. Reach out to recruiters on linkedin. Good luck
I went from 92k when I got laid off to 95k with the new job. Had to move to huntsville AL. Most jobs pay well here, if not better. Relocation was partially paid too.
I found all my best fitting job possibilities on LinkedIn and Indeed. Connect with vendors. Get on head hunter’s radars. Thanks to GAC laying off, there are a LOT of former employees who have moved on to other jobs in the industry. They are sympathetic and gave some good leads and referrals. Gotta look elsewhere than Savannah. Dying business town other than tourism.
Are you looking outside Savannah? I was wary of moving but haven’t looked back. Turns out it is the best move I ever made
Monster.com is the way to go. I was using indeed for about a month, then posted on Monster and got contract work within a week. Plus there were others calling, so it was really nice to get to choose.
Good luck!
