SDL is an incredible waste of time! Some groups will not run into trouble because of security issues, they will fail, because nothing can be delivered in time any longer! Shipping nothing at all or only after months of SDL task tracking is very secure, but you will fail anyway! Unreasonable risk avoidance is nonsense! SDL is the most bloated process of all times. Stop this b—s— work and fire the SDL team!

I agree. I have not seen as bloated process as SDL ever. I am not a complainer on this website. But SDL is just a #1 waste of time. Its ineffective and inefficient. I don't know how it has grown so much in last few years. I doubt if the process itself does any good.
Focus on your own work and don't worry about what other teams are doing.
