How much did WIN employees lose from their portfolios after the company stock got cancelled? The execs didnt even hesitate when it came to cleaning them out. The company 401k match was in company stock for a LONG time, most didnt sell that stock. And I personally know alot of employees that had money taken out of every check to purchase windstream stock right up until bankruptcy. Its disgraceful what they did to their employees. As they dance to the bank here are the employees left behind.

I love the windstream employees that lash out with name calling. These are the same people that dont care about the customers and laugh when they are down for weeks. Their response is similar “if a customer is dumb enough to stay with windstream then they deserve it”. I heard this countless times while working at windstream. Got out within 8 months after windstream bought the company I worked for. The people still working at windstream are the ones that were the problem and ran that company into the ground. All quality employees saw how bad this company treats their customers and employees and got the hell out.
Some people were dumb enough to hold onto the stock. Some were even dumb enough to keep working at Windstream. Not alot of bright individuals working at Windstream, just ask their customers.
None because I'm not an id–t and moved the 401k match out stock as soon as it hit the account.
I sold all mine back in 2016 when I saw the downward trend continuing. Why didn't everyone else pull out? Those that stayed in and lost it all can only blame themselves - the writing was in the quarterly reports but still you did nothing. Now you have.....nothing
You are responsible for the investment risks you take. Blaming a loss like this on the leadership of the company after seeing the stock price tank for YEARS is willfully ignoring reality. I do genuinely feel bad for people that lost money, but at some point personal responsibility comes in to play. Trusting that ANY company is immune to something like bankruptcy is....just....dumb...

What kind of R tard watches the stock price continue to fall and still keeps buying stock?? I lost money one quarter a long time before we were ever in financial trouble and I stopped buying then and sold all of my shares shortly after. I do t need windstreams help to lose money.
They are disgraceful. Hasn't that been proven over the years of layoffs. Just had a layoff last week. If you think they are done laying off employees to save a buck then that is your fault. There is no Telecom with them and more importantly there is NO software powerhouse. What there is, is a bunch of BS and if you continue to think it will get better then sorry. Stay and endure the financial hardships and mistruth.
