Heard there was another round of layoffs yesterday. Any truth to the rumor and how many affected ?

Here’s my prediction... Lumen technologies and quantum fiber were created to increase profit and reduce overhead. No more union! Let me explain
Lumen technologies has taken over all business and inside assets. Why was quantum fiber created? My understanding is because they want to get out from underneath the union and all of the overhead that centurylink has. Their plan is to bankrupt centurylink, quantum fiber will then purchase all of centurylinks assets pennies on the dollar, they will then offer only qualified fiber technicians jobs with the new quantum fiber company. Quantum fiber will be a nonunion company. There you are my friends! Get out while you can! Use the education assistance provided by the union! The executives running this company are ruthless! They are thugs! When this all goes down I will guarantee you they’ll be hunted down. One by one!
Being laid off tomorrow morning, after giving 5 years of my Life to this company despite all of the changes. I just moved and signed a brand new lease, which my Boss was well aware of and now I am being let go with NO warning. IDKnow what will happen to me and my family. Devastated.
It’s a business and they obviously don’t know what they are doing! Of course there will be more layoffs. Made up metrics set up for you to fail hence to legitimize the lay-off. These people have layoffs and RIFS to set fear in the remaining work force. That’s no way to excel in your career! Screw that company and it’s fearless mo–ns running it!

Union? Hardly enough company techs left to have a union. Contractors out number company people everywhere I look. What time we have on existing contracts I believe that’s it,Done!

You honestly think the Union has any leverage over these cold a– executives? Please!
So where’s the walk out since there’s been 100s let go (at least) in the month of October ?
That stock will keep going down and more layoffs are in the horizon! Tick tock!
Good thing our union is so tough and would call a walkout if that ever happened.
