Who should probably be thrown out of the union. And the IAM , is just as worthless as he is . It doesn’t represent railroaders. The union should have never allowed for SGL’s. Supervisory is the keyword in SGL .Either be an officer or be a craft person. This guy has always been a piece of work. What goes around comes around. can’t imagine what it would feel like to have all these men hating you, with your Saturday Sundays off..

An SGL cannot work with their tools. Watch them and if they do time slip it
That’s why most places dont have them because it serves no purpose.
At least a working gang leader can be somewhat productive.

You would definitely see members stand up more if they had leadership. Knowing someone has your back is what it’s all about. Hard to stand up knowing you are on your own in any investigation.

Most of the “old heads” hate SGL’s even though they aren’t secret jobs, al posted in a safety meeting to apply. If your going to be there might as well make the most money possible but that’s to much thinking for some. If half of them fixed locomotives instead of sleeping half the shift might not be in the situation it’s in now...the one and done thinking for your own throats slit...everyone without a job right now thanks you!

If you can’t beat them, join them. Don’t hate the guy for doing what’s best for him. Why sit around with Tuesday/Wednesday off on second shift when there are better opportunities?

IBFO general chairman refused to come to Norfolk for an investigation because he is retiring and did not want to get sick . Never mind they’re trying to fire someone for handing someone a brake shoe .

There probably going go shut the shop down in the near future. Same thing happend at RLS. Huge layoff then a couple months later they announced the shop was closing. Sounds like the same story here.

Yeah,20-30 years of seniority Will get them Wednesday Thursday off, forced overtime, forced on holidays. All that time just to end up back where they started. Not sure I’d stay....

BLS will close just like RLS. Same strategy they played at RLS. Furlough as much as possible and then have a skeleton crew for a few months before closure to avoid massive payouts.

Yep, typical BLS manpower Utilization. All the manpower on daylight nothing on the off shifts. Like it’s Walmart and they are expecting a rush of
Customers during the day.
