Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Optimistic

It's a wonderful thing to be Optimistic. I agree with that. It's another thing to be taken advantage of while you try your best to provide for your family. Now let's be blunt and honest here. For years there have been no raises for the hard working people trying to keep a company going that doesn't have any regard for you. It's a CASH burner. I would be inclined to say that Max the dog lives better than alot of the employees. Now splitting $20 million between the top 5 is utterly ridiculous. That is corporate greed during a Bankruptcy while so many families suffer, and for TT to post about him mowing his own yard is a slap in the face. Now I wish the best for every employee but you need to let go of a dream that it will turn around and make dreams for your family. Proof is in the pudding so to speak. Don't dig your own grave and move forward. I would venture to say TT had more love for his dog than he cares about any employee in this company.

How many windstream employees kept that windstream stock they were matching 401ks with? They fleeced a significant percentage of their employees retirement funds and then gave themselves MILLIONS on bonuses the following months. And dont get me started on the lack of heath benefits. How can any employee follow these crooked b–tards?!

Ever compare the traits of a sociopath to the actions of the LR5. The similarities are eerie.

Welcome to America's model of Capitalism. How a CEO has a contract with a publicly company that's not performance based is astonishing. Then, of course, we reward abysmal failures with million dollar cash bonuses as the company essentially hit rock bottom. Perhaps that was the plan all along. Job well done, LR5, et al.
