What are you hearing for Q4 EMIT layoffs?

@tgu+1780wFb6 what kind of engineers are real engineers - not computer geeks that will suddenly gain some tech literacy and manage all this geeky computer stuff? Apparently not software engineers, computer engineers, or electrical engineers since that apparently makes you a clown.
EMIT Business liaison roles will be eliminated - replaced by business-embedded folks (Engineers - not Computer geeks).
The entire 'Architect' role setup will be rearranged also.
A fake hierarchy based on who listens to who within EMIT.
If you need a certain CL level to be listened to - then what's the point of thinking?

Haven’t heard much but safe to assume some layoffs imo. EMIT won’t be outsourced, however we are moving more jobs from the US to the GBCs. I think that’s pretty well known at this point.
No layoffs but I could see the entire division being outsourced to HCL or similar with a few exceptions being retained as vendor management. Another function did this some years back, sending employees to what is now a third party. They are still employees of the new company, likely with the same salaries but no longer under ExxonMobil. Kind of like how business units get sold off.
