Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Things look worse than when I left!

I've been gone for a little over a year. I figured I'd come check this place out one more time and I can't believe I'm saying this, but judging by these posts it looks like things are even worse than when I was shown the door. I was devastated when I was laid off, but now it looks like I should count it as a blessing...

If this company had one ounce of loyalty and integrity I would’ve stayed. They failed!

Yes, it affects you psychologically for a while , it has nothing to do with your job performance, you were a number on a list, but in hindsight it is better to move on rather than stressing for months on end , thinking of ways to keep your job, looking another career, saving up for relocating , I got laid off on a Friday , took a job on Saturday in another state , spent $ 5000 on the move , much happier here but miss my old co-workers and of course the old homestead , my favorite places , the weather etc.
