I heard there are major lay offs happening at HTC - are they planning to close the facility?

Hold your breath. Here it comes.
Well, we just had another one. At this rate the customers will buy elastomers until the equipment wears out or until they replace us in the line up.
I was let go earlier this year and I have to say that I had moved on until someone called me thinking i was still there. And all i have to say is BAH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! What a wreck. what is going on over there? I wasn't a boss and I would call that stuff out. I was told that they were in big trouble.
Being the nice person that I am, i pointed them into the correct direction and wished them good luck.
They called me back two days later. I'm sorry, but you guys need to tell the truth and inform your bosses that you weren't doing what you said you were doing. Or just do yourselves a favor and go get another job somewhere else. This isn't rocket science, but according to some of you, you're Thomas Edison. When's the last time you've screwed in a light bulb. Start with that, then you can tell me you have bright ideas.
To you hard working people that i still cherish and love for the people you are. And mostly because you call a spade a spade. Good luck to you. I still have a place in my heart for you!

Heard they let go of all managers at HTC. Engineering was heavily impacted. This really s—s when you see lots of “EBs” with only one direct report or no direct reports at all... what are they EBs for????
Have the HTC layoffs so far this week been strictly salary? Any hourly layoffs?

Can anybody that has been layed off from HTC or NHR share what the severance pay is? Asking for a friend.
Lay off at HTC. To make room for NHR guys. Because they need their "expertise". Plant manager at HTC came from NHR and will bring in a few more of his poeple from NHR. Out with the old, in with the new. They are going to run HTC into the ground as well, then move on to the next. Im glad i don't work there anymore. Got my severance, thats all i had been waiting for.
I think they are just doing rooftop consolidation, big layoffs at NHR and JFK then put whoever’s left in one building
