One might think to start a new insurance company with all the talent that Allstate let go. Someone would just need to organize those individuals and look for an investor group that might be interested in investing some seed money for startup. Make it an employee owned insurance company.

Insurance is a dirty nasty business. I would not consider remaining in this field even in a high level role.
