A couple of my teammates were notified of their layoffs today in Dallas, I have not received a notice, YET. Why wouldn’t they just do this at the same time? Why split between two days? Is this like that for other departments?

Team meeting notification for a certain time then the Teams call at the appointed time
Zoom invite with RCL. RCL and CSL on call. Alotted only 15 minutes bc many layoff calls to make.
RCL read attorney written script. Very impersonal. NEXT call...
Is it certain that if you did not hear today, you are safe tomorrow???
If others on your team were notified and you were not, you're (likely) safe.
It appears they're doing entire teams/departments at once. Two people on my team were notified today, along with our manager. We were told the people who did not receive an email for a meeting invite today were safe.
Maybe you aren't impacted.
How were they notified. Via zoom meeting or was it a phone call.
