Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Official list of "redundant" positions

Completely understand emotions are very high right now but this page is becoming cluttered and hard to follow. If everyone is willing to share their known affected positions and percentages in their office within this thread and maintain the updates through the active button I think it would give us all an idea of what remains within this organization.

Encompass/Esurance? IT? Financial? ATSV? Sales and agent staff? Claims?

There are a few redundant VPs, EVPs etc and none lost their jobs as far as I know. They all saved their own ass

I retired a couple of years ago. Best move ever. Things were ugly an stressful and harming my health. I still communicate with many folks in the Northbrook office.

Centralized IT is hit hard. IT engineering, Infrastructure teams and third level support are hit hard. They cleared out most (all?) of ANI IT staff for support and engineering. All is going to India now.

As mentioned earlier. the vast majority are long time employees with larger paychecks than the inexperienced ones left behind.

Hearing 40% of Esurance NY claims going, probably just as bad - or worse - at Esurance NJ.

MCO in Texas saw 20% reduction in CSLs, 50% reduction in processors, and 8% in adjusters. I am not certain they are done with processors and adjusters. That was just unrep yesterday.

If you are giving information about layoffs at least provide the state. Some of us are having anxiety waiting to hear the news. You are giving numbers of people let go, give the state to give us an idea

TN office - Multiple CSL, 1 RCL, 5 processors and a few casualty adjusters received “The Call”. Perception is the tenure/higher paid and the lowest tenure were given 60 days.

I think there are going to be several layoffs over the next year in waves. To my knowledge, all of the layoffs were throughout claims yesterday.
