I heard rumors that more layoffs might be coming in October, does anybody know more about this?

Reilly said in a town hall for the women's symposium (which was c-ap btw) that he understood how difficult layoffs were because his daughter was laid off from her job. Who wants to bet daddy was taking care of her! Guarantee she wasn't solely dependent on her income alone and had an investment account as her safety net. He should have kept his mouth shut. Upper management get to collect their paycheck while the underlings don't.
Ha. Overstaffed. Thats rich considering my group is literally drowning now. There was zero thought put into who was termed. VPs and above gathered together to make decisions they are too far removed from to even grasp. They brought a hatchet to a situation requiring a scalpel, and those actually managing people who do the work are left to clean up the mess.
He also said that there were so many people, that they were tripping over each other and there were too many people involved with decisions. Hmmmm....my team was not tripping over itself. We were a well oiled machine. And yes, there may have been a lot of hands in the mix, but interesting that none of the SVPs were let go. The ones who were the most difficult to pin down and to make a decision.
Well, in the Town Hall today, it was the same old story. Good balance sheet, lots of cash on hand, so no reason for more layoffs. But....that's what he said the first time around in June. Paul also had the audacity to say, "we were overstaffed and everyone knew it". Really Paul? Everyone? I'd say there's no clear answer to more layoffs but then again, no one at RJ is speaking the truth right now.
Maybe they should ask for volunteers this time.
I actually heard March 2021 for that one. Half way through the next fiscal year they are going to reassess. In my area we’ve had attrition and layoffs over the past 2 months, so they would have to be considering outsourcing if they cut anyone else.
The RIFs communicated on Sept 15th are effective October 16th, so technically speaking, "yes, there will be layoffs in October." Other than that, I dare the OP to share their source.
BS
Hopefully, somebody can deny this.
