This notion of "today layoffs, tomorrow safe" for claims is false. Safe and let go calls set for both days. In fact it is confirmed it will be a sad and tough day for NY/NJ and northeast claims tomorrow.

Be careful, it was said for today and tomorrow. NY is choosing tomorrow no idea if anybody was already told, facts say they have until tomorrow.

make a lame excuse and switch it until Friday, who knows! it is their game not yours.

Our meetings were supposed to be today but the director canceled as prefers tomorrow...nice,right?
Anyone that got an email invite in the chandler CA office was laid off from what i have seen.
My office is done. We were told today that if we haven’t gotten a call, we are safe. At least for now anyhow. Who knows about next year.
To my knowledge, everyone that had a call today in the LA office was laid off.
Can confirm. It is absolutely both days. If you make it through today, you are only half way there.
The NE may have a different schedule, but for my office "laid off today, safe tomorrow" appears to be correct.
About 40% of my department was laid off today, managers included.
