Severance Pay

So if in the event we do get the 60 day notice, when will we receive our severance pay? Will it be the day after your 60th day? Also will they have us sign something regarding this?

Many people now also being laid off off 12/31 - how will Allstate handle COBRA for them? With the ones laid off early, they covered Cobra at same contributions until end of year but many in Claims, FSL, Encompass will all be done with the last check - well played

Hopefully they won't pay it until 2021 otherwise it could effect which tax bracket you are in

They have 60 days from your last day to issue it

And you'll likely have to sign something saying that you won't sue them.

Severance is paid in one lump sum on your 60th day.
