OK, Here is how we do it.
We need to change our approach to how we fight this company. We need to organize and consolidate the unions. Each hub has like 40 part time representives that collectively don't have a clue as to what they are doing.
We need to consolidate and vote in, one single rep for each direction that works full time as a rep and works with the other directions to handle this company at the local level. They would work allternating shifts so that one rep is always available to help members around the clock. They need to record monthly meetings that are available to all members of the UTU or BLET and allow all members a voice and vote on the meetings. If we organize at the local level then maybe we can see results at the national level.
All valid time claims, safety issues, harassment and intimidation issues need documented and accounted for so that when, and I mean when, we finally decide to strike we will have the documents to collaborate our reasons with a judge and have the weapons we need to fight this company. Let's all quit the complaining and start with the basic steps needed to right the ship. United we stand, divided we will most definitely fall. Its time we fight back.
