Emerged from bankruptcy

The day has arrived- TT says we have emerged from bankruptcy. Now we wait and see if all the predictions on this site come to be. Is CLEC safe? Is ILEC safe? Will sales staff be cut? What changes will come about regarding middle/upper management? So many people post like they know what’s going to happen- now we’ll see over the next weeks or months.

If we only offer unbonded speed we get ate up in the marketplace because noone runs unbonded dsl anymore. Sorry you had to actually do some work today instead of the bare-a– minimum you are used to.

Don’t worry. Im sure they’ll hire a few more layers of analyst and/or spin up another centralized team somewhere to send emails to the entire management team about your workload. Maybe set up few more conference calls every week. That’ll help.

Today was a day from literal hell. The minute you sign on and there’s unbonding to be done. That’s what I done ALL DAY LONG. Let’s stop the bonding and give the customers the highest speed they can get on a single pin. Sounds logical enough for me. I just do not get it. The techs wait on hold for 40 minutes. Then they get to wait another 20 minutes on us to get them unbonded. STOP THIS BONDING BS. There’s no reason for 90% of these people to even have a high speed like 50 or 100m. Waste of time and waste of money rolling a truck. Let’s get real here. If the peons can see it why can’t the uppers see it?!?!

Wow a new logo and the same sh–ty systems that dont work day after day. I get work 2-3 jobs with no extra pay all because of poor mgmnt decisions being made in my part of the company. I cannot get too specific but we have a new mgmnt team that has run my dept into the ground then cant figure out why the numbers are so bad. You have c-ap systems, we are relying on outsourced work which is most times wrong, and we have no facilities to do the job. Mr. Thomas you ran the company into the ground for such a financial gain and yet you cant see the forest for the trees. How you can blow smoke up the gasholes of people with a straight face is appalling to me and my fellow hardworking employees. Give some of that money back to fix our sh–ty systems we have to put a ticket in on every day and hire some people in the customer serving areas so we can actually help the customers get service with us. I will take your overtime money but you could save a lot of it with just hiring some people and upgrading your own systems to better serve the customers you like to brag about. Sorry this is such a long post but its been another frustrating day with frustrating systems and managers that cant manage.

Laptop still sitting idol surfing YouTube waiting on the call. Maybe I’ll wait long enough to get service anniversary and score another week of severance. Can’t wait to carryover vacation to add on in case call comes. Lil T and sorry executive mgmt team motivation is working.

I expect upper and senior management to keep getting all the raises and bonuses while all others get the shaft. Morale will continue to erode. Why stop this trend now since it works so well for the few

All that doom and gloom and most of it was from the very people that kept their jobs. Maybe now people can get back to work so the company can move forward. But a high percentage of the employees are a cancer and will continue to be negative. Untill Windstream can replace these C & D players they wont be able to move forward. Need more talent now!

They make it sound like we are a wonderful growth company without a back story.

I wouldn't expect anything drastic just more small layoffs every few weeks before a payday.
We all know their is a ton of dead weight. The investors will want a return faster than the executives or the board. We are private now and there is no one to report to on wall street.

We have "emerged from bankruptcy" - now there's something to be proud of. We have "emerged" from under all those pesky vendors we owed legitimate money to..... Now let's find someone else to fleece....Oh wait - we are fleecing the employees too ! And let's not forget the customers and all the outages no one cares about anymore. Emerging from bankruptcy - just another formality in the day of the do-nothing Judge Drain-O. What a racket!
