Liberty is laying off all underwriting assistants and supervisors. They are sending these jobs to India.

Corporate Finance work being outsourced to India. Layoffs announced last week and impacted employees notified. More waves of layoffs expected through 2021. Likely similar situations throughout the organization.

How many jobs are you talking about? Underwriting for personal lines, commercial auto, construction, marine, etc.?? Can you be more specific? I can't imagine all underwriting is being outsourced.
Go to India and apply for a work visa, just like the H1Bs do in USA. If H1Bs are prevented to come to USA due to high h1b visa salaries, then companies just move the entire department over to India. Not only do they same money on hiring cheap labor but also cheap real estate.
