Like the chemical aromatics technical team? Technical team but not very strong technically. Very good at confusing people however

@8bg9 , I really pray the entire technical team could be sent off from the entire SGCX. You guys can be a pain in the a-s for the operations. It’s like those Lieutenants in the army trying to teach and command enciks on what to do.

@8bgt 😂😂😂 sour simi. The fact that you need to bootlick your way into management says it all. I’m not a manager but I got 2 condos fully paid in my 30s.

@8bgs so sour. Cannot make it to management track eat super lemon. Not constructive at all

@8bg9 truth hurts eh. It’s true what go around sourcing for ideas claim as your own then inflate the margins. Execution ask the SMEs to do for you 😂😂 Technical in a nutshell.

@8bg7 Agree on this. Some on management track only know how to assign, not having capability to guide. Worse - some people don’t have any idea on how complex things can be, what effort is required, and which crafts are needed.

@8bg7 you must have posted at least 50 messages here. Always the same writing style, talking like the resident kopitiam uncle trying to sound logical, with endless complaints about management knowing doing nothing, yet hoping management do the right thing and remove management. Sh-t stirrer spreads hate

Btw some of us technical want to get package and go.

Hope that mgmt makes the right decisions and remove the leeches that is leading to the demise of SG. There should not be management vs technical track.

Pple on so called management track spent years with no knowledge leeching on the work of others and claim it as their own, rewarded in the process. The worst part is they are brought up to think this is the correct way, all they have to do is spend their time asking others to do work but contribute none.

Employees impacted by this redundancy exercise will receive support and a severance package that includes:
• One month of salary for each year of service, capped at 12 months
• A payment based on the number of months remaining until retirement for employees close to retirement
• Access to outplacement services and job transition support

nice try, i guess you are either a troll or just a foreign alien trying to discord. Just move on dude
"
The prevailing norm is to pay a retrenchment benefit of between 2 weeks to 1 month salary per year of service, depending on the company’s financial position and the industry.

In unionised companies where the amount of retrenchment benefit is stated in the collective agreement, the norm is 1 month’s salary for each year of service.

Traditionally all top management jobs must be worked from bottom up. Only the CFO was parachuted from outside. Reason is current CFO is very experienced with cost cutting. Just like Citibank Jane Fraser, they are great minds who think alike. Good luck with your numbers!

My friends and colleagues.. that is called Corporate Leadershit.. They will tell you they made tough decisions to choose 50 billions share buyback over livelihood of 2000 employees who scarified blood and sweat.
They may cut your benefits but still collect 35 millions package for themselves.
The most funny part is they will gaslight you they are doing that to keep your job and future. Any thought?

One of the analyst asked DW on earnings call yesterday about the recent layoffs. His answer? “going forward, we continue to see additional opportunities to become more effective and through that, then get more efficient”

I’ll leave it to you to figure out what that means

Don't think the sls deserve the package. They need to stay on to clean the mess after cutting the workers. Need to interview and find people to fit in

Give me package, I will leave.
I know EM will sc--w up big with BTC and KLTC support.

Post ID: @8ay5+16zEvLP3

Even those who worked for less than 10 years would want the package. Enough is enough..staying is another blood bath for the years to come

@8axm who doesn’t want the package. Any smart person that worked for 20 years will want the severance package. It is like hitting the jackpot.

It is unfortunate to vent here. Even my superior are giving up on this company. My superior said that it is tiring to work under constraints, limitation and red tape. Christmas wish that my superior wished for is the retrenchment package. It was surprising to hear someone whom lead the team for decades to say such words.

I guess the site really had enough.
