Who cares? While many executives are earning over $1 million, the top earner, DW, takes home a staggering US$36.9 million.

Increment is a joke this year. Some people on Good get 0.2%, another got 0.23%. There's even somebody get 0%. VG got 0.5 to 1%. Meanwhile DW will still earn his millions.

I am not being sarcastic; I am genuinely trying to be serious. Can we return back 30% of the salary back to corporation so that EM can continue to pay $36.9 millions package to DW, millions dollars worth of RSU to senior executives, $50 billions stock repurchase, $60 billions worth of new acquisition and $33 billions of dividends to shareholders.

For employees, their total reward is more than pay and it is so competitive in the world. They are earning too much by just sweating in the field and risking at front line. They don’t have any impact from inflation because they are not humans, and do not deserve any sharing from our record profits. However, we must stress them to torture psychologically and squeeze them to work more for shareholders’ value.

The older workers should be careful, especially if you are in your late 30s. If you are not valuing adding at least 10 times your salary (since expected BCR nowadays is 10 times), you should be worried

See the standard or playbook to measure whether someone is under or overperforming has been fixed and will always remain fixed.. But the only variable Exxon played with was workload.

Given the law of probability, if the workload has been increased tremendously the rate of someone making a mistake at work will increase exponentially as well..

The rate of someone getting a warning letter will be higher and they will be awarded PIP.. After they leave, the company will not replace them. The company will continue to increase the difficulty level of the game. It is smelly but it is totally legal, in the name of underperforming they can get rides of as many people as they want.

EM culture is no good. You all know what I mean

by

Post ID: @p6aiy+16zEvLP3

Of course it is legal because those who are PIP are "under performing" relative to the their peers. EM would have ensured that they cover all grounds before implementing this.

Is it legal to PIP employees to cut cost? I think MOM needs to step in if this is the way how EM treats the employees.

1 billion dollar dream is just like my 10 million dollar dream of striking TOTO.

Post ID: @p5cac+16zEvLP3

why Exxon will pay you retrenchment packages, while they can PIP their way out to cut costs? it is not cost-efficient to pay a package and ask people to leave.. Anyway to reach their 1B goal, they need to have a minimum of manpower to stay when they hand over the plant to the new buyer..

That is why they don't intend to kick anyone out officially, but those people who cannot take it and leave Exxon would not keep them as well.. Anyway is good for the company can save money and the top also thinks that since there is not much work, also don't need to keep so many headcounts.

by

Post ID: @p5snh+16zEvLP3

Business is not going well, headcount need to reduce. To be fair , EM should pay every single employee with official retrenchment packages. We are waiting it.

In May 2024, Shell agreed to sell its energy and chemicals park in Singapore, which includes the refinery on Pulau Bukom and the petrochemical facilities on Jurong Island, to CAPGC. CAPGC is a joint venture between Indonesia’s Chandra Asri Capital and the global commodities trader Glencore. Although the exact sale price was not officially disclosed, reports suggest that the deal could be valued at approximately US$1 billion (S$1.36 billion).
