Wouldn't it be Nice if someone within the leadership team would address the layoffs or have a company call with all employees to give us the truth instead having to come to this ridiculous gossip website to find out what's really going on within our company in terms of layoffs.why have we not had all employees call to give us the true facts the good the bad the ugly.And don't say because people will leave if they find out there's going to be layoff s we know there's layoffs monthly nobody's leaving on their own free will at this point. Why can't they just tell us the facts. Show us some respect if we are valued employees. apparently we're not valued. It's just bizarre how this leadership team has dealt with everything.

I agree Frontier is just as bad as WS..but Elliot owns both now..They wont keep it separate for very long. Merge the 2 and do some deep cuts and dump the copper
Elliot owns frontier now just like us. It makes sense to combine the assets when they emerge from Ch 11. The traditional TDM / copper wireline business is dead. They are going to make something happen with those assets.
Frontier is as in bad of shape as Windstream.
Centurylink is not in any shape to buy WS. I see a Frontier merger in coming year or so

TT bought some of the worst ones too. Like Mascom and America telephone both companies have no network and are resale. Worst part is they are a collection of former p!ssed off paetec customers who almost immediately fired our a$$es again, complete joke. And Broadview and EarthLink had their own excentricities.
TT wasnt driving or growing the CLEC side? He was buying CLECs right up until bankruptcy.
TT is not doing the best he can. Taking around 20 million during bankruptcy to provide for his family and taking luxurious vacations during this is unacceptable. Go look at his Twitter page. This month he has been hanging out in Colorado according to the time stamps. I don't think he is concerned about the health of Windstream. The health of his bank account is of importance.
The primary person responsible for where we are today has been gone for a while. JGs ambition to grow the CLEC side of business is what put us on this path.
I’m not absolving TT of anything, but, he’s doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt. And yes, before you say it, I know he was here with JG when those previous decisions were made. He wasn’t driving the boat.
you forgot the word failing, how to run a 'failing' business. in which, yes, many of us never aspired to such great career goals. the company didnt just fail on its own, it took real lack of "understanding" on how to run a successful business to do that. it wasn't the people getting laid off that failed to upgrade the infrastructure or merge networks, thus pissing off the customers that, you know, provide the revenue. Maybe the company will survive if we actually layoff the people responsible for its current condition?
If you don’t understand why layoffs are happening then you need to learn to read a 10-k. The math is pretty simple. If revenues continue to sink the layoffs will continue.
What else do you need help understanding? There is no grand conspiracy By TT and the boys. If anything, the new owners will probably be more aggressive about it than the LR5 have been.

Hard questions are presented everytime we have an all hands call. Questions that are never presented much less answered. They lack honesty, integrity and guts. Guess its something about Arkansas based companies. Walmart, Tyson, Windstream....nuff said
