you must live a sheltered life if you have never heard of the BOD LONGBAY.legendary within the Baker Hughes empire.
Mark my words. Oil will come back.
A bay is a biscuit
No future left in this industry going forward!

@OP While we all admire your optimism, the fact is that the industry, and therefore the need for BH core services, was already in decline prior to the onset of Covid. The only parts of the business that were making any money were those like Digital Solutions that had a significant client base outside of O&G.
The boom days are over, and they’re never coming back. I would suggest going into IT if you want a stable job.
What is a bay?
There is no boom coming, only a continuation of adjusting to market conditions of lower highs offset by lower lows. This decline started in June of 2014, and it will continue. To what end I certainly do not know. However, the acceleration of alternative energy and a rapid shift now to EV vehicles will continue. I’m an old school combustible engine guy but there is a decline there that will continue. Oil demand at some lower decline level will continue. We’re decades away from the Jettson future, but we’re seeing this reality glimpse in our lifetimes.
