Not sure this will really help ease the fears, but the CDC newest report shows 94% of the deaths from Covid have been from people with underlying conditions. Only 6% of the deaths are from Covid as the main contributor. That does not mean the virus is by any means under control, but if you are a healthy person you stand a great chance of beating the virus if you get it. I think we just need to make sure and not bring back people with underlying conditions at first. We need to protect our old and those with underlying conditions like asthma, etc.

You can find this information on the CDC Web Site with a lot of stats.

I am working from home and I am way more effective than at the office. Let’s pointless meetings and micromanaging from middle managers. Not to mention no commute. OXY should adopt wfh full time like tech companies for the white collar (not field) workers.

Not funny. Those just sitting on their behind and not working should be let go with little or no severance. It doesn’t seem like work from home is being administered properly. This is totally unjust to those let go earlier this year before the virus became a problem.

Having A and B schedules makes sense.

Start of Q4 is most of Houston's target for enterprise size businesses. A delay to mid Q4 will likely result in a Q1 start because of Holiday and vacation issues.

A rotating schedule is likely to be floated but since the A schedule is heavy vs B we will need something else to determine who's going in and when.
