Seagate Sg big layoff coming up after bonus

I am an ex-employee of Seagate having just experienced yet another round of the Seagate RIF cycle(s). Looking for a GOOD company ...... then get out NOW and don't stop running!! But, if you are still stuck inside the walls of the sinking ship - GOOD LUCK as it is only time. My only advise to you is to always wear your life jacket or stand up NOW as the surviving employee base and demand change in the complete infrastructure and don't stop demanding change until management throughout ALL levels of the company have been changed. Unless of course you can give an honest reasoning to why there are many directors, (A.K.A. - Managing Principle Engineers). and above with NO reports!!! Oh ya, the simple truth is the GOOD OLE BOY's club inside of Seagate is rampant and can only be explained by focusing on a short term gain, (BONUSES), with NO focus on supporting the company long term. Take care of your families and remember the TITANIC!!!

Seagate Springtown is in the process of hiring more staff .How is it that there seems to never be any layoffs in Seagate Springtown but layoffs in every other Seagate plant?
