Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Will it ever get better?

It wouldn’t surprise me if the person who continues to brag about the daily 3 and 4 cent gains in their Pearson stock shares is also the one making all the decisions around Pearson! Talk about “Ready, Fire, Aim” You lay-off countless EAs and an entire CEC team in June and here we are not three months later and you tards are working to hire an entirely new CEC team along with new EA’s. Talented, intelligent hard working individuals were let go and these were people who knew how to do the job and do it well! Now you are looking to replace them with new people who will have a difficult learning curve in this current environment! This just means more work for those who are already doing more than their fair share as it is! You fire a VP due to the role being “redundant” only to learn you can’t handle the day to day responsibilities and decide to rehire for the same exact VP position you were supposed to hold down but figure if you change the title that nobody will notice! You bring in someone who “fluffs” the forecasts and makes things look better than they are and assume that he will bring in his MVU crew to teach us a thing or two! Know this, MVU is the minor leagues compared to ASU when it comes to lead volume and size alone ! MVU admission req’s are laughable, a minimum 1.7 GPA requirement along with no app fee makes for an easy enrollment and should never be compared to ASU’s admissions requirements. A little advice, you might want to start caring about the partner who keeps the lights on for all the little guys and get that chip off your shoulder when it comes to your feelings about the EAs and ADRS’s who bust a– for you! Wake up Worrell, you and Smug Smitty and the rest of your r—d gang are going about all of this the wrong way!

Of course it's going to get better. They just need to either layoff or outsource more product and software people while continuing to expand the C-suite and office for Diversity & Inclusion. Then lower the guidance for the rest of the year and freeze salaries. Such a winning formula!

I have to believe the stock price stuff is sarcasm. Anyone who brags about Pearson stock needs to have their head examined.
