More layoff as of 9/1. have a few managers that are having their people moved to other managers And a few offshore managers are now under our org. The writing is on the wall.... More offshoring because reasons.

Since the layoffs hit on Aug 27th-has anyone heard if more will get laid off next week?
I already got my walking papers on the 27th...I’m just concerned about others in my dept now. :(
I was let go in Dec 2019 but was not officially done until 1/2020 I too found another job in 3 days, cheaper and better benefits which made up for the decrease in pay. Non high deductible plan. There are jobs out there so hang in there if you are let go.
Gave 14 years, then Friday 'meeting'. Told services no longer needed. Cardboard box, and escroted out. Couldn't say goodbye to team members, etc.. That was reality, US empire. You are just a tool for their use. Disposal for stock gains. Enjoy that voting farce /pageant/theatre/shadow boxing.
Many they can tune in the daily/weekly us propaganda session and get their corporate "news" from folks with lots of integrity and honor. ..........keep hamster wheeling.

Easy to put blame in the offshore companies , but at the end of the day it is good old US Capitalist System at its best and US Senior management making the decisions. Point the anger in the right direction.

When dumbvita was there it was pretty good. singing, dancing, there was a good teammate love going on. There was chanting corporate mission statements and PR slogans. That was the us! so proud to work there then optum came in and it's more of nothing.
Part of my one team is now under a manager from the phillipines. Waiting for the next domino to fall. They moved all the people under 2 managers to other managers. And brought on another manager for the phillipines. Eventually we are all moving under the phillipines management for IT.....
Too many chiefs and too many Indians.
They got me in the July wave. I'm getting close to a new job right now with better pay. I feel bad for the folks left on the SS OptumRx sinking ship. Wave after wave of layoffs. I hope my phony baloney ex-boss gets it this time. What a jerk.
Directors and senior managers are now under scrutiny. There have been a huge speculation to boycott this company and their business because people have been constantly flagging this as a low scum bag company run under Indian culture and incompetent Indian resources.
Who runs this Optum division ? Talk about out of touch

I was hit in the June Wave, this site has been spot on with the dates so it looks like 9/1 it is. Warn your friends. Btw - I found a job pretty darn fast so there are opportunities out there - no need to fear the unknown.
