Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Re Branding on the way

According to "sources", Allstate is all but done with the acquisition of yet another carrier and will be announced in October. With that, they are going to push hard for a universal global presence and will be growing into new territories. Because of that, a re branding will be taking place by 2022 where Allstate will become Allworld Insurance Company and almost all operations will be moving overseas.

Hell they can’t compete in America so they have to start over in another country Allstate has such a bad rep . Pathetic they can’t fix the prob so they move thousands of miles away instead of looking in the mirror and seeing the prob keep those rose covered glasses on

“The powers that be have decided that it's great time to acquire other companies on the cheap, eliminate redundancies, and get rid of the less efficient operations that do things like cost more per client acquisition and have more employees per claim that would be more expensive to retrain and grouse about being paid comparable salaries rather than simply hiring and training people at a competitive rate today. Allstate is an archaic operation with a lot of 20th century cruft and legacy expectations no matter how you look at it.”

If that’s what they’ve decided then they’ve decided correctly. Not stating my personal opinion on the matter but there really won’t be a better opportunity for some time. The stars are properly aligned.

I wouldn't doubt that this is true.

We all know that Allstate has been increasing its presence in India for years from the employee resource angle so it makes sense that we would start writing policies in India as well.

I think if its true, its a great idea. We tried this years back in Germany and Italy without success.. With the technological advances and familiarity with Indias laws, business climate and population base the time is now. This would be Transformative growth.

Sounds made up. The HE was earlier today. The National deployment team is the only team they will announce changes to next month or so because of supporting agents.
