They say I can register interest in this voluntary option and change my mind without it being held against me(which I don’t believe with the current management)
I have over 20 years and am over 45, I can walk into a similar paying job tomorrow which is being held open for me but should I hold out until they make me redundant which would pay better ?
I reckon they owe me a maximum payout for my loyalty !
Please give your opinions

What benefits low paid put against other engineering shops and a union that still thinks queen Victoria is on the throne
Is the UNION non existent at NOV Greengate. If so then it won’t be long b4 Sgt B-LKO and his highly paid buddies take all the benefits and turn the place into sweat shop
Hate working Mondays how about the rest of you
Bilko has said I'm important and needed
Not in the union, you’re such a waster!
Busy busy busy monday here a Greengate plus over time as well sweet
Go now i will be I've already sold out
Take the money and run but you already knew that. Always refreshing to see a joke thread amongst the doom and gloom.
NOV doesn't give a ten-penny f— about your years of service. You are a number on a spreadsheet to them. Take the money, roll it into some retirement savings (or blow it down at the pub, I don't care I'm not your father), and go for that other job.
Use this and add your notice period if they let you go

If it adds up to more than this take it, smile and move on, NOV aren’t worth any more effort
Take the money and get out, bank whatever you get and carry on working, that’s what I did and never looked back
Don’t get greedy... NOV will NOT do right by you and your years of service. If you have a job lined up, and can get some money for volunteering, I’d go right ahead. You don’t want to string a new, equally paying employer along on the hope NOV will magically start giving a flying f00k about their “global family”
Hope you are talking about NOV GREENGATE, Becoming a storage plant for other companies. Hopefully redundancy will be inevitable can’t wait.
