Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Merit increases being announced....but....

don't complain about the kibbles you are getting...you should be thankful that you are getting anything amidst an epidemic.

DXC in lockstep with their raise guilting strategy....could we expect any less? Why should we feel bad for asking for more? F you top management! How dare you insult our intelligence with your psychological warfare!

This is not merit when certain levels are excluded. RiF their assess if they are without merit. I know, you're already on that!

I know of two who got small merit raises, then their take-home pay went down.

A "manager" told them the reduced net pay is due to a "change in tax bracket" and suggested they request that the merit raise be rescinded. HOW f–kING STUPID CAN YOU BE?

I know of two people who received tiny pay raise only to find that their take-home pay went lower than before. f–kED COMPANY blames it on "moving into a higher tax bracket". f–kin' LIE.

Lucky you on electric boat, bit like the AT&T guys guaranteed pay rises and bonuses in double digits every year since leaving CSC for doing the same job.

Stay at dxc and you get the bare minimum if your lucky or 0.

Those of us on the Electric Boat account that are transitioning over to Unisys (Yes DXC lost the contract) are not getting raises, as far as I know. Most of our coworkers who are not moving on to Unisys, are getting raises. At least most of us will be getting raises when we land at Unisys, some folks substantially.

Even L1-4s aren't guaranteed anything, so don't be so quick to assume anything. I know some of my colleagues got something, but not everyone in those levels.

They can afford to give levels 1-4 raises because they are cutting staff levels 5-6. Enjoy your pay raises because you will soon be underpaid once again when you are doing jobs 5-6 @ 1-4 rates.
