OP I support you doing the letters. Good for you. Realistically College football is like a corporation pretty much. They don't care. The loss of a few thousand jobs is nothing as long as Allstate pays them money. Of course with football conferences cancelling games etc this year will get interesting to see if we even have games come the end of the year and New Years.
But bottom line: The NCAA and the bowls only care about money. Just like Allstate. Birds of a feather and all..
Yes I do understand business and have also seen major corporations get dumped because of weird things that bring the wrong spotlight on the benefactor. If the SEC and Sugar Bowl people told Allstate to keep their money, got new nets for behind the goal posts with a competitors name, it would circle back to the BOD, which in turn would filter through the stockholders. I am sure that the HBCU will have many families affected by the mess currently created by Allstate and don't think for a minute that Allstate doesn't take pride in the co-branding of SEC, Sugar Bowl, and HBCU
Lets be honest, as long as Allstate cuts them a check, the Sugar Bowl could give two f—s about how Allstate conducts business. Do you not know anything of how the NCAA works?
