Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Which Claims call were you on?

I heard there were 3 calls on Wednesday- you’re laid off, you gotta do assessment, your safe. Did same jobs at esurance get same call as Allstate people? The job titles aren’t the same. Reply with what work you do in claims & which call you were in.

I wasn't being rude. The truth hurts sometimes. I stated my opinion. Dont like it, oh well!! Cleary I said the assessment was some bs! However, I didn't think the puzzles were hard. Whats rude is your comment. I dont coddle grown folks. I said what I said!!

Why be rude about the puzzles... some people just don't like them or do them and some people struggle with being timed. That does not equate to their intelligence... so weird some of the rude people on this site. I am so glad I don't work with you. Or if I do we aren't close because I wouldn't continue a friendship.

Well that s—s for you then. Those puzzles was easy. However, they didn't have nothing to do with being an adjuster. We already work here, you want me or not. Why do I have to take a dumb–sessment. I'm sorry if anyone could not take it. Wish you the best..

Well I for one couldn’t do the puzzles... so even though I’ve been a top performer through my entire career, and still performing at a top level, with very high production, and a ton of knowledge. Guess it’s Walmart for me

I don't think Esurance has ECs. I think that's why they didn't reduce ECs...for now.
I wouldn't get too comfy if I were in that role.

That assessment and the puzzle was easy as hey! If you cant move some blocks to put a ball in the hole, then maybe you deserve to go work at Walmart. Sorry.

Unrepd bi adjuster on the second call.. all repd adjusters also on the call and ldu and I believe all csl’s . Heard through the grapevine that ec’s are safe.. I know they just went through a realignment but man, seems like there are a lot of ec’s if reps are dropping you would think they would too

I don't believe anyone is safe - Mike C indicated in the last call no impact at this time however we will be reviewing as informational growth continues. So I take that as a no safe zone, only time to wait for additional impacts.

I was on the 3rd call. While some relief, it’s bitter sweet knowing what others are facing. I also am wondering safe for how long? Still concerned about what next year may bring. In the interim, even more focused now on saving every dime to prepare for the unknown.

I was in the second "Transformational Layoff" meeting. After over 25 years, my job relies on a psychological assessment and a game of Tetris. Now to wait 7 1/2 weeks.
