My guess is that TT is probably still CEO and on the BOD to advise Elliot on how to sell off the pieces for a profit. It's apparent he can't run a company for profit. We have all witnessed that. Think hard about that. He is still there for a reason, but most likely not to turn a Telecom company around. His background is a CPA and Elliot is money. Neither of the two know Telecom. Good Luck and get ready for the money train folks.

if accomplishments include, pissing off customers, under paying labour, never upgrading the infrastructure and never actually completing more of a merger pass signing some documents...sure, those are some fancy accomplishments.

Its obvious that the people running the ex-Fortune500 have equal amount of success as the "herd". So does it really matter if you have the know-how, if you cant execute?
I don't think anyone on this site has ever ran a fortune 500 company... let alone anything more than maybe a small business.. all the speculations doesn't mean sh– coming from the herd...
TT got what he wanted including a new role on the BOD. He'll be replaced as CEO as they sell off whatever is left at Windstream. Then WS will be no more under a new CEO and TT can go on thinking he did great things and that WS didn't disappear under his leadership. Just a game really.

So is this company where all the living Enron execs went? I mean the ones that testified against their fellow execs in order to stay out of prison?? They had to go somewhere right?? This company seems to care about its employees just like that. They’re so focused on wealth. They couldn’t possibly be happy people.
