7,700 have been identified as redundant jobs that's why you are taking an assessment so they can figure out in your department who to keep and let go. So 3,700 of that 7,700 will be laid off. YW.

You keep posting this again and again. Source or gtfo. Nobody has time for your c-ap right now.
Where is the 2500 figure for processors coming from?
actually they are laying off 7000, 2500 processors alone
Allstate should be called Allsnake. They are a joke to the insurance industry. They lied to all their employees either laid them off or moved them to Charlotte or other docs then once their they lie in the kick offs to their employees we will never ship your jobs overseas you will always have security here then next thing you know photo claims are in Pune India. Then everyday they keep adding more and more claims and expecting more and more and taking away more and more benefits keep getting worse more out of pocket. Next will be the PTO guaranteed. The Charlotte Doc is run by a clown from New York he’s a joke all he is about are numbers on a report does not care about the employees in the Charlotte Doc. Glen Shapario is a joke he has single handily destroyed the company just like he did at liberty mutual. The employees are the one paying the price they uprooted everyone made false promises for one thing $$$$ and investors. Allstate is a joke to work for they also cut the estimates as low as they can to screw over their customers. Last but not least the managers over the estimators don’t have a pair of balls between all of them they don’t stick up for their workers and run their employees into the ground. Great job Allsnake screwing the American worker sending jobs overseas and taking advantage of your customers. Get ready National General employee’s you guys are next since they bought you.
I don't get how they can lay off that many of us..especially in claims. We are overworked as it is.
It's so unfair. They complain nobody is loyal anymore and people jump from company to company. Then they kick out old-timers because they know they can get away with it.
What are you left to do about it, they know they have you and you are trapped.
How much do you think they are offering for these new jobs? Allstate has a track record for driving down costs.
There are going to be some very desperate people willing to work for peanuts....this may be the new indentured servitude. Work long enough to die....maybe your house is finally paid off in the end.
Have you seen all the claims jobs they just posted in the hubs, weird they are laying off while posting new jobs.
Wow three rounds!!
I think this is just an educated guess with no facts. There is no possible way the units taking the assessment can work with 50% capacity. The global amount of cuts was expected to be 3700 approximately and you have to count people already given 60 day notices, office closure firings already done from training, hr, home office etc across the board. It’s unknown the number of layoffs from each department taking the assessment. YW
Finally a thread with some (potentially) useful info.
Any sources or way to indicate your confidence level on these?
All layoffs in the US, YW
Two things....history on being part of every RIF we've had in quite some time and the other one is too specific.
Are you talking claims only or company wide?
What’s your source?
This round....I've never seen a RIF that didn't go more than 3 rounds.
It's how they avoid the lawsuits....YW
