Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

UP Cares

I keep reading posts about UP. To expand, if they care about employees.

Answer short and simple: NO THEY DON'T!

A dedicated person goes to work. They (UP) invests a fair amount of money to get them integrated into the company. Then they (UP) does nothing but put all efforts into denigrating everyone.

You know why?

Because incompetent id–ts were put in charge, and/or promoted. It's a virus that has infested this business. The ones doing the hiring are not those calling the shots at the lowest level.

Misery loves company.

Whence it's time to promote; goofballs will only advance those that are worse than that are. Then, them, will only promote those less capable then them.

A festering disease that is almost impossible to eradicate.

So, if a decent person comes to work for this toxic environment, they are at the peril of incompetence.

Good luck to all those that only want to make a living for them and their families. It is over!

If UP really cared about its employees, they wouldn’t have laid so many of them off.

Maybe both of you should get another job.

To the UP apologist that attacked the OP. Whence can mean many things. Like: whereon.

Use your thesaurus.

And then you want to highlight then and than. A simple typo.

When one cannot stand up to the facts at hand, one want to attack the meassager.

The usual BS from management.

You showed your hand... now get another job.

I know the OP worked really hard to put this post together and to try to sound smart. However, the use of the word whence is incorrect. Whence does not mean when so it’s use makes no sense. The kicker is the use of then rather than than. Good try though.
