Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

ATSC

Will all of the ATSC be getting outsourced to India? Its frustrating enough with hold times but the Irish by large are good at what they do

I had to call ATSC today but I couldn't talk to anyone? it said to go to ATSC on my computer and contact them there, I guess this is a way to move jobs to India and employees don't have to complain about not understanding them, now we will chat with a guy named "Mike, or Bob"

There is another post on here that claims that Allstate in Strabane, the main Northern Ireland call centre, is closing with the jobs likely transferred to India. If true then the call in experience will likely get worse.

I love dealing with Ireland! They are amazing at what they do and they are extremely nice!

Pune is useless. but pajeets will work for pennies on the dollar, so Allstate would rather hire 200 of them rather than seamus over there in Belfast.

If you haven't called ATSC recently you should, no longer do you talk to a person the message directs you to go online either on the Allstate network or through an external network if your work computer doesn't connect. The days of talking to a person on the phone for computer tech support are gone.

Every time I have to call ATSC I pray I get someone in Northern Ireland, as soon as I get India I know I’m in for 2 hours of saying “I’m sorry, what?”
