Are they having conservations with furloughed associates? I heard they were supposed to start calling soon.

Yes probably be called back as flex. Working the hellish hours the worst time of year. Well if we're not getting enough hours are they still going to supplement them by giving unemployment ? Fulltime are not going to go back as flex a I can tell you that.

They were just “surveying” to see who is still available, in case they’re needed in the future. I guess it will be easier than hiring seasonals come October, and then cutting to 3 hours in December, and furloughing again after inventory.
I did learn how awful it is straight from the horse’s mouth. Not exactly tempting to go back to.

Unemployment runs out soon for furloughs. I hope if they're layed off they can reapply for unemployment since they're aren't many decent paying jobs out there and so much is still closed.

All I know is they have to be contacted. Only the store manager has access to the complete memo as it is "confidential".
