Rumor mill saying production and completion layoffs for Savannah in groups for 30-90 days. Anyone know anything about this?

I was RIFed in May...I offer some first hand thoughts here.
The new CFO didn't start until 8/3. He needs to get his look around before he sharpens his scalpel. This is GAC, so another big cut is not a matter of if, but when - don't kid yourself. There are good jobs out there at very solid companies less at risk of layoffs as GAC. Jobs are harder to find than a year ago and take longer to land, but they are there. I'm proof. Get your resumes in at Northrup, L3 Harris, Moog, Lockheed, Raytheon before the next cut so you get the jobs before the next glut of GAC RIFed guys hit the market. This is particularly true if you are over 40. You are in the salary and experience range GAC has a lllooonggg history of cutting loose (back to pre-2002 in my time there). If you don't have kids and other family tying you to Savannah, you'd be really short sighted to not get the heck outta there while you are in a position of strength, especially if you are at the top of your game. Know several really great guys who survived the May RIF, saw the writing on the wall and made a move. Very smart and the ones I stay in touch with landed in good places.
So is this just like back in September/October when we were all notified that a RIF was coming, but no one knew when? If you are going to announce a furlough, could you at least do us the courtesy of letting us know when they will happen? Or is that too much to ask?
As far as off-site meeting, I was told there was one but that’s all.
Anyone heard of the production department?
Was management at an off-site meeting today?
MB email yesterday says there is definitely a series of furloughs coming, mostly in completions and customer support (but not ‘companywide’ for now).
As a former Gulfstream employee, I can say Gulfstream was the worst company that I have worked for. Poor leadership, decision making, total blindness and deafness To employees input and the inability to stay the course. Good riddance.
That’s what I heard too. And it’s supposed to start sooner than you think so heads up! The insanity up there never ends it seems.
I heard product support and completions groups would be furloughed, but not when or how long.
