So now that we have been given new titles, when will they announce the career paths? Has anyone heard about this?

Career path?
You mean from Optimism Station to Disillusionment Junction to Greed Central to Denial Depot? That's the only path offered at WF.
Ask Tolstedt, Kovacevich, Stump, and the rest of the merry bandits and they'll tell you...thst is, if you can track them down on their yachts and in their palatial mansions.

Tech Manager (and now glorious Engg Manager here). All Saul sh– if you ask me. The higher level IC above SSE are virtually unattainable. Also salaries are flattened. So people who are making less have now even a harder wall to climb. What they say is NOT what they do.
Any sentence that begins with "According to Saul..." is highly suspect.
He is so full of... uh... hot air (and himself!)
There is no career path unless you happen to know someone that has a job open. Needless to say that is far and few between.
You make your own career path at WF
They're already out there but I don't know how widely they've been shared. The new job family descriptions etc. are already on teamworks. I got a view of them when I was told my new title which didn't change much especially compared to many other roles. The job mapping stuff is published too– again, don't know how much managers are sharing that info.
Expect many of those higher level IC roles in Tech to be near unattainable. Just like before it's a carrot that only a select few can ever reach.
I heard September/October we’ll have the criteria for progression. You’ll be able to progress to more senior jobs as IC, it won’t be necessary to be a manager.
According to Saul there will be career paths laid out with steps you need to accomplish to progress. Whether you want to grow as an IC or move to Manager.
What is a career path? Wells doesnt have that.
