Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

Top-heavy, Trying to sell like Dell

This company hires tons of SVPs, RVPs, AVPs and any other letter you want to put in front of a VP title.
Some of the VPs have never been a VP before but come in off the streets thinking they are going to "Change Healthcare". Incredibly top heavy...everyone hiring their buddies and making it the good-ol-boys network. Not enough worker bees to get the job done. Implementation cycles are 5 to 6 times competitors in the market. They keep hiring people from Dell to save the sales organization - last time I checked Change Healthcare's business is Healthcare IT not hardware. Trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
New policy for Exempt employees...unlimited vacation!! Is it really unlimited or just a setup for them to RIF a ton of people and not pay them their accrued PTO?

So true! How the hell are Dell employees going help sell products and services they don't even understand.

All part of the plan. Cut real talent (that costs money) down to the bare minimum and outsource everything else to bottom-of-the-barrel providers like Wipro. Get those costs way down, no matter the negative impact on employees and customers. Just make it keep barely running enough to milk bonuses and ultimately a windfall from being sold. No member of management actually cares about CHC. You could replace the CHC name with nearly any other publicly traded company, and you wouldn't see any difference. It's a pervasive sickness of greed and self-importance.

PTO - another Earned benefit evaporates by crafty HR policy change. What a disgrace. How does this benefit a loyal, long term employee?

Disgraceful.
