Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Additional layer to the RIF

1st round: region to zone reductions and agency field team cuts (almost done)
2nd round: home office, tech, claims, esurance redundancy cuts (just getting started)
New: re-check and sweep of all areas and departments to cut remaining"operational pork" such as directors and DM's with low number if reports, other claims, tech, and processing grunt areas that can be moved to India or Northern Ireland. (This process beginning very late 2020 or early 2021).

This info came from a head in policy admin.

Regions still have employees that have not been told if they need to do assessments, stay, or go.

How do you guys feel about being called pork by someone who hasn't worked a claim or talked to a customer in years, if at all?

Well they are working express like a sweatshop so what better place to send a sweatshop than India . Where they can pay 3 dollars a day vs 15 an hour. The corporate greed is sickening and every company that does this is hurting our economy because so many jobs are leaving g the country and there are no new jobs to replace them .
