I was in the 2pm call and told I needed to take an assessment. I’ve been bouncing around doing TDY’s and special projects and was advised that wouldn’t be a positive factor in my review. So after the assessment, we are still going against other people? What is this severance packages thing? Different ones? I don’t understand this and some of us have been taking on extra work for other departments and are still being hit. Then told we can try to move to another role? But how will that work? What against 30 other people? Ugh..

@1qof+16i5MCK9 Absolutely! This isn’t “boot-licking” it’s working hard for a company that made promises they had no intention on keeping.
I did work for ABO during this pandemic! For three months and in the last month had to do ABO and my permanent role!! How is that boot kicking? It’s doing what leadership tells you and selects you for.

It is clear as day to me, that the vast majority of people commenting on this thread, have NEVER been good enough to be selected for a TDY! So they hate on me and people like you! I just think it’s c-ap that they won’t even factor that in... so what, I’m doing this extra work for nothing? It sure doesn’t benefit me!
All the support and love for OP and even the people in here who are questionable , I’m in the same boat for an assessment coming from a tdy .no it’s not bootlicking when you work hard for success .
Some people would rather be about regret management than goal orientation I guess.

What part of being “voluntold” don’t some of you understand? With comments like “boot-licking” and brown nosing”... some people get told they are going..
That’s what I thought to. But was confirmed today, none of the special projects will be factored. So yay!
No good deed goes unpunished, if they are not looking at your TDYs and special projects. I would think these things would be looked at favorably?
I didn’t “brown nose”... my management would literally call me and say: “congratulations you’re moving here”... so ummm, brown nosing, no sir!
