Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

No way to live your life.

Took severance in June, feel like my old happy self again. No more weighted down stress, apologizing all day to customers for being a company that makes ZERO changes to streamline delivery. Changes they do make are counterproductive. I feel for anyone who works in Service Delivery and did not take severance. Legacy Level 3 management brought micromanaging, fear mongering old school ways with them - destroying all hope of a decent work environment. The good managers who fight for change have no real power and are overruled by Directors who are out of touch w/ day to day operations, in spite of having meetings daily. Being tired and stressed 8 hours a day is no way to live your life. There are other jobs out there. Good luck everyone.

Centurystink! So very true! Those executives have all lost their minds! Sold all my stock today! Enough is enough!

I was cut in June also. Bern fighting for my 401k and pension ever since. Either they call me or i call them almost daily. Can't wait to cut ties with them.
Denied unemployment because of severance. Everyone else getting rich off extra unemployment while I am spending my severance, which was supposed to go into my savings.
It is a great feeling though when you see a CTL slave in the field knowing you aren't being abused anymore.

I'd rather be homeless begging on the street than go back working for Centurystink.

Amen on the evil place.
Must have tasted bad apologizing to mad people all day when it wasn't your fault. Better things, much better, will come your way
I'm a former robot and feel the same. Life is good

Good for you ! and every word you say here is true - they constantly change the rules in the middle of the game - then the fault lies on the Service Delivery person. Congrats to get out of the evil place.
