You will get through this. There is life after Allstate.....and you will find that it is better...
I can’t imagine the lives of the “lucky” folks who will be left behind...

3xqy- Out of insurance. Turns out that a lot of us have a skill set and experience that is sought after in parallel businesses (Attny offfices, body shop MSOs, training, etc).
Remember that Allstate is making a business decision- it isn’t personal. You should all use that “hand wringing” energy to focus on moving on and probably up.
May I ask - did you stay in insurance or go elsewhere?
Same, I was part of the last big RIF almost 3 years ago. I was even given the opportunity to stay during the last 2 weeks of the 2 mo period. No flippin way! Took my severance and moved on to much greener pastures. Allstate isn’t the company everyone is trying to get to anymore and the insurance job (adjuster, field adjuster, DE, etc) isn’t the golden ring it used to be. Good luck all...

Same here and can only echo was OP has said. Life is better, mental state is better, home life is better because I’m not upset all the time due to what leadership was up to....
