Att sales team do nothing but lie 90% of the time like yes sir we can get you internet home phone and TV service for 80$ lmao never seen a company so hell bent on eating its right arm so it looks like they hit a sales target all bait and switch
If you have the CSR title or a few others, they can’t fire you for not selling, but they will micromanage the living hell out of you and write you up until you finally quit or blow your brains out.
@ So will they fire you if you don’t sell enough for this CSR position ?
Not sure. They are turning our customer service center into sales so I would assume if you don't hit you are out.

Man have to sell att crudware I feel sorry for anyone that has to do that and subject your customer to att billing. Glad I don’t use any att services just thinking about their billing gives me the creeps and makes me go to a dark place.
Our manager has focused heavily on sales in past 1-2 months. Think they just changed our comp plan as well meaning surveys only account for 20-25% when they used to be 50%. But yes, have been "coached" in the past few weeks about sales and how important they are. Even when someone calls in to cancel or is irate because the promo price they were quoted is actually $200 higher, have to try to sell them new service.
Yes, we have been working from home as cust service reps for 3 months. Sales are not more demanding due to not being able take ssn and cc numbers for new orders. Having to pass sales to Managers in the office or PODS working from office. Time consuming and slow.
