This lay-off process is being handled very very poorly. No one knows anything and deadlines are not being met.

Mgt knows just not saying anything. They should just get it over with. Give people their 60 days notice and be done with it. People already know the company does not care about them and how they will survive with the pandemic and not being able to find jobs or if there are jobs, competing with their coworkers. Even though you had this planned since last year. Greed and cheap labor is ALL YOU CARE ABOUT!!!!!
Really? Nobody can guess what Allstate is going to do? Allstate only cares about profit and doesn’t give a f&@k about it’s employees. Coming from that viewpoint, layoffs will begin after hurricane season has ended.
