Hands down, the most abusive company I have ever worked for. They allowed nepotism in the worst way. Rumors of people sleeping with management. People talked trash about people. They let the folks who cared disappear on the background by not giving them credit for a job well done.
Now they're sitting with their thumbs up their as*es when people have families to feed and bills to pay. Such a shame!

@1cxp+16cSPot6 - you are a mo–n. I never bashed the company prior to the c-appy way they have handled these layoffs during a pandemic. I actually liked my job, but now I don't feel like I can trust my employer.
Formerly emlployed by Allstate for 20 years. The grass is greener elsewhere....just saying.....
Who the heck cares. Let people feel how they want to feel. If you happy about the potential lay offs, whoopty got dog doo! Let others vent if they want to. This is real life. We were broadsided with this out of the blue. Allstate is doing well, then couple months later, layoffs are coming in a dang pandemic. People are free and should feel free to express the way they feel. Don't like it, don't come on these boards. Thank you!

Par for the course instead of addressing the root cause(s) of what drove employees to speak out, you bash the people that speak out. Why would I hand back my paycheck that I actually work hard for, despite the many “leaders” who don’t even do 1/4 of the work? Encourage the “leaders” who are working PT hours for FT pay and are so removed and out of touch with the day to day goings on. Your anger is misplaced so my suggestion to you is, if you dislike these posts so much leave.

Everyone that hates the company so much why not give your paycheck back tomorrow? I'll wait? 🤔 I'm going to gladly take my check from the company that employs me. This forum has become nothing but a btch fest. I wanted to be able to come and learn what was happening with the layoffs. These post are ridiculous. The same people btching about the possibility of getting laid off and bashing the company are the same ones who expect to keep their jobs?! It's really mind blowing. If you hate it so much and think it's so terrible please quit! It will leave more room for the people who want to be here!
Isn't everyone working from home?
Too many employees with toxic personalities. They screw people over and get away with it every time. People can’t see them for who they are until too late. The employees who do are scared to speak up. Toxic people will protect eachother which means chasing out good employees. Rumors. Character assassination. Nepotism. Backstabbing. Lying. Isolating. Stealing credit. Sabotage. One toxic boss can screw up a department. To many in a company risks big change to the culture ... for the negative. Bad path to be on.
